KJM Superbike LTD was formed in 1994 and is a family run business. The humble beginnings started quite a few years earlier when Keith James Mason the proprietor of the business started importing Honda Goldwings’ from the USA. The success of that venture opened the door for Keith to build a new showroom in the leafy suburbs of Wrightington, near Wigan and to supply top end quality used stock sourced from within the UK and also from overseas. Now in 2007 the company has grown and employs 25 people who specialize in the importing of Brand new motorcycles and their subsequent distribution throughout the retail and wholesale sectors. The staff is a key part to our success and most of them have been with us for some time now, this is the ideal foundation to build on. A Customer likes to deal with the same old face that they have always dealt with. We believe that the customers are the most important part of our business and want to retain those customers, so we try our hardest to make the whole process of buying a motorcycle very simple and pleasurable at the same time. We also, with pride; like to resolve any problems that come our way with speed and the utmost efficiency in order to maintain a good relationship with our customers.
We do a large percentage of our business over the telephone and don’t actually get to see those customers at times so we have all the necessary means of communication available for you, be it Phone, fax or e-mail. We can set up a deal on the phone; even If you have a part exchange and can have your new bike available for collection or delivery to your home if you wish, usually within the week. This can sometimes be a little longer over the busier periods or if you require delivery but as yet all our customers seem satisfied with the way the process works.
Our showroom is out in the countryside and is not a huge building due to the restraints of planning a building of this type in such an ideal location, but we feel this suits us better as the place is not overwhelming. We are open seven days a week on Monday to Friday between 9-6pm, on Saturdays 9-5pm and on Sundays which always seems the busier day nowadays from 11-4pm. Please note that the workshop is open from Monday to Saturday only.
Our sales team will be only too pleased to speak to you and note we never pressurise anyone into buying as the sales team are not paid on a commission structure. This set up is all too common these days and is not the way that we do things here at KJM. So please feel free to come on down and have a free beverage and peruse all the lovely new motorcycles we have on display. |
